The relief supplies included a 16KVA generator, a canvas warehouse for storing goods, and 150 tool kits for home repair.

Nguyen Thanh Cong, Secretary of Muong La’s Party Committee, said: “We will consider which areas are the most in need for the supplies. Top priority will be given to setting up tents and generators. At the center of the flooding, the headquarters of Nam Pum commune can’t command the region because of a power outage. Tents are provided to those who lost their homes.”

The AHA Centre sent relief supplies worth 230,000 USD from ASEAN’s warehouse in Malaysia to support Son La, Yen Bai, and Nghe An province.
