Vietnam now has 32 provinces with silkworm farming industry with 10,500 hectares of mulberry farm, ranking 5^th in the world in terms of silkworm cocoons. Dr Le Quang Tu, Vice President of Vietnam Silkworm Association called for technical solutions to help farmers raise product quality: “We should rely on technological solutions to improve output, especially through high-yield mulberry varieties and multi-stage worm raising techniques as well as wooden trays for silkworms nestling.”
