It said: “The Vietnamese government has decided to, beginning Thursday, relax its restrictions, which have been in place since April 1 to curb the spread of coronavirus in major localities. Thanks to these measures, Vietnam, a country bordering China with a population of 95 million people, has so far had fewer than 300 confirmed cases and no deaths. Unable to conduct mass testing because of it limited resources, Vietnam has concentrated on isolating virus hotspots, a strategy which has proven very effective.”
