In an article in “The Truth” magazine, Piotr Tsvetov, Vice President of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association, praised the Vietnam Communist Party’s determination, saying Vietnam is entering its 13th Party Congress with justified confidence in a bright future.

Grigory Trofimchuk, Chairman of the Council of Experts Asia-Europe Research Fund, said on infox.ru, one of Russia’s biggest e-magazines, that Vietnam is successful because its Party values the role of public servants and never hides what may hinder national development. Mr. Trofimchuk said Vietnam is on the right track and is becoming a role model for other countries. Vietnam’s open and diverse diplomacy has helped maintain its close cooperation with Russia’s major parties, he said, adding that Vietnam has proven a loyal and reliable partner to the Soviet Union and Russia.
