Putin reiterated that Russia has done everything possible to protect the lives of the civilians in Ukraine including the organization of humanitarian corridors for their safe evacuation. The two Presidents discussed the progress of negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian representatives.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday called for comprehensive peace talks with Russia. He affirmed that this is the time for the two sides to conduct meaningful negotiations on peace and security.
