The Ministry said Russian experts will train Syrian military servicemen to use the new missile defense systems. Russia's Ambassador to Israel Alexander Shein on Wednesday played down tensions over Israeli attacks in Syria, saying they were not the reason for Moscow's proposing to supply an advanced air defense system to Damascus.  He said it came after the US, France, and Britain faced off with Damascus and Moscow over an alleged chemical attack.
