The Russian Strategic Missile Forces successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile of the land-based mobile missile system, it said.

The launch aimed to evaluate the correctness of the circuit design and technical solutions used in the development of new strategic missile systems.

The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the launch achieved the set objectives and said the missile hit a mock target at the Sary-Shagan training ground in Kazakhstan with the required accuracy.
