Mr. Putin said at an economic forum in Moscow that President Trump did nothing wrong by looking into possible cases of corruption, adding that any other State leader would do the same. President Putin said he is willing to reveal the transcript of any phone dialogue with his counterpart Trump and his words can be made public at any time.

President Trump is facing an impeachment inquiry over accusations that he pressured Ukraine’s President to dig up dirt on a political rival ahead of the November 2020 election.
