Some regions in Ukraine hold referendums to join Russia (Source: Reuters)

On Tuesday officials in those two regions had announced the results of a referendum on whether or not to be annexed by Russia.

Addressing the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he does not accept the referendum results in those two regions and will not negotiate with Russia after Russia held annexation “referendums” in four Ukrainian regions.
