Ryabkov underscored that this dialogue must be an inter-agency one that takes place on various levels. He added that, besides the regular meetings between delegations, expert working bodies must be established which will dissect everything discussed during the regular meetings and whatever they are tasked with by the two presidents. Ryabkov said he hopes the US will confirm their willingness to organize the dialogue in this way.

According to Ryabkov, Russia doesn’t rule out the US’s involvement in settling disputes in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine. It all depends on who will be the US coordinator on this issue.
