Buddhist monks pray for fallen Vietnamese soldiers during the fight for national defense.

The most Venerable Thich Kinh Chieu and Venerable Thich Nhuan An co-chaired the ritual. Venerable Thich Nhuan An said: “The ceremony was based on the wish of the Vietnamese community in Thailand to pay tribute to heroic Vietnamese who died in the struggle for national defense. We also want to pray for peace and prosperity in Vietnam.”
A similar requiem took place in Russia last weekend.
