Receiving Chairman of the Korea-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group Kim Tae-nyeon in Hanoi on Wednesday, Chairman Hue said he believes that the Vietnam-Korea and Korea-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Groups will continue to strengthen practical exchange activities, contributing to promoting the friendship and cooperation between the peoples of the two countries.

He suggested that the two friendship groups of parliamentarians adopt flexible and appropriate forms of operation in order to further strengthen the activities of the Vietnamese community in Korea and the Korean community in Vietnam, pay attention to all aspects so that the Korean and Vietnamese communities in each country can successfully integrate and contribute to the development of each country.

Mr. Kim emphasized that the two countries' relations in economy, trade and culture have been fruitful and the two countries still have plenty of room to develop stronger. He said that the Korean Government is looking forward to hosting the World Expo 2030 in the port city of Busan and called on Vietnam to pay attention to and support Korea in this area.
