(VOVworld) – Party politburo member Le Hong Anh called for reforms at a review of the communications and education sector in Hanoi on Tuesday. He praised the sector’s contributions, particularly in explaining Vietnam’s foreign policy and its sovereignty over the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagoes.

He said: “The sector should continue to reform its means of communication. It should research and suggest ways to prevent the spread of harmful information on the Internet as well as implement its media management and development plan up to 2025. Media management agencies should increase their ability to analyze and forecast domestic and world situations to steer public opinion, contributing to national growth.”

Mr. Anh also urged continued implementation of the movement to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example and a Party resolution on Party building.
