This year, the province, home to the UNESCO world heritage site of Ha Long Bay, will organize 160 cultural and sports activities to attract more tourists.

Pham Ngoc Thuy, Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, said, “April is the key month for Quang Ninh to stimulate tourism demand, especially with the Ha Long Carnival. We are receiving positive signals from the Korean and Indian markets. The province welcomes 1,000 Chinese visitors through the Mong Cai international border gate every day.”

Quang Ninh hopes to welcome 15 million domestic and international tourists this year.
