President Putin stressed that any country that intends to intervene in the current Ukraine situation should understand that they will create unacceptable strategic threats to Russia. Therefore, they should know that Russia’s response to those strikes will be swift.

At the meeting, President Vladimir Putin told lawmakers that Russia's rouble, banking system, transport sector and economy as a whole have withstood sanctions imposed against Moscow and he promised a response to attempts to isolate Russia.
