Working with committee members on Monday, Mr. Trong urged the police to uphold the vital role of Vietnam’s armed forces to guarantee political security, social order, and peace for Vietnam’s development.
“The people’s public security should streamline its apparatus for an elite, strong force with exemplary, pure-minded, upright, and uncorrupted members. You should neither let your guard down nor be complacent about your achievements. This is vital for the survival of our regime, so we are looking forward to your drastic evolution,” said Mr. Trong.
Other attendees at the meeting included Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
