(VOVworld) – A contest was launched in Hanoi on Saturday to encourage teachers to think of new ideas and teaching methods that integrate information technology to introduce interesting and effective lessons for students. The competition is part of a cooperative program between Microsoft Vietnam and the Ministry of Education and Training being implemented in Vietnam for almost a decade. Tran Yen Dinh, Education Sector Director, Microsoft Vietnam, said: "Through this contest, we hope to popularize new viewpoints and methods regarding IT application in education. The application of IT will enable teachers to organize their lectures in a more interactive way with students which will promote students’ creativity and be more active in their study."
