Port workers have been on duty throughout the lunar new year festival to ensure customers’ demand met. Most shipment has been transported to China , South Korea and Japan. Farmers in Nghe An province has begun their spring crop.

(VOVworld) - The first export shipment in the new lunar year has left Gemadept Dung Quat port for Russia. Port workers have been on duty throughout the lunar new year festival to ensure customers’ demand met. Most shipment has been transported to China, South Korea, and Japan. Farmers in Nghe An province has begun their spring crop. The province targets to have 86,000 hectare of rice cultivated in this spring crop. The provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has prepared sufficient breeds, fertilizer and technical support to ensure a bumper crop, as its Deputy Director, Nguyen Van Lap puts it: “Our agricultural extension staff will travel to districts to help farmers in technical coaching. This will ensure a high productivity in the crop.”

Fishermen in Ninh Thuan beach has held a ritual to open a new fishing season. The traditional ritual aims to preserve local tradition while strengthen farmers’ unity and help them share experience in offshore fishing.
