Over the years, the UN has been working with Vietnam for the national development and most recently in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Affirming that the UN's proposals and recommendations are useful to the government's policy-making, Prime Minister Phuc asked UN agencies to contribute their input to draft documents of Vietnam’s 13th National Party Congress, which will cover  environmental protection, people's democracy, and economic development strategy for the next 10 years.
