PM Phuc expressed his hope that both countries will teach their younger generations the importance of preserving the special bilateral relationship, boost people-to-people exchanges, and accelerate investment and trade.

He said Vietnam will continue to support Laos and stressed the need to cooperate in training human resources and, in particular, to improve the quality of training for Lao students in Vietnam. He urged both countries to continue to reform their mechanisms, laws, and policies, make new strides in international integration, and share their experience. Mr. Phuc said Vietnam will help Laos build a new headquarter for the Lao National Assembly as a symbol of the Vietnam-Laos friendship.
