According to the Prime Minister, the core factor for Vietnam to defeat the pandemic consists of three main pillars: aggressiveness of the whole political system; consensus of the people; and application of scientific methods.

Meeting with 70 health professionals and officials in Hanoi on Wednesday, Prime Minister Chinh pointed out that in order to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic and other diseases, the Government needs more efforts and enthusiasm of a team of experts and scientists to develop Vietnamese health care sector to the next level.

He said he hopes that each individual and collective of experts at home and abroad will promote their experience and passion and take drastic, practical and effective actions to protect people's lives and health, soon return to normal life, and recover and develop the economy.
