The notice informed of the Prime Minister's conclusion at Thursday meeting of permanent members of the Cabinet on COVID-19 prevention and control. Prime Minister Phuc stated that in the coming time, the disease risk will remain and there will be more COVID-19 patients in the community. He called on ministries and sectors to continue to uphold vigilance and urged the health sector to accelerate vaccine research. The information and communications sector must to do better and more effectively and properly, so that people are always on guard against the epidemic without panic, he said.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc assigned Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh to instruct the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Public Security, National Defense, Health, and Transport to arrange repatriation flights for Vietnamese citizens, facilitate entry of experts, investors and skilled workers, and work on the social security package’s phase 2.
