Addressing the event, the Prime Minister applauded the union and relevant organizations’ contributions to the country, especially in the combat against the Covid-19.

He said: “The Youth Union should mobilize more members and young people to get involved in the Covid-19 prevention and control, multiply effective models in the work, and mobilize social resources for the combat. Young people and volunteers should help the public in voluntary health declaration and identify the elder as well as those with underlying health conditions while promoting the application of new technology and solutions.”

Stressing the need to capitalize on the “golden time” to contain the coronavirus spread, the Prime Minister said the 6.3 million union’s members not only make health declaration but also help other people do so to help authorities sort persons vulnerable to virus infection.
