President visits Guard Division in central region

(VOVWORLD) -President Nguyen Xuan Phuc has said that the establishment of the central region’s Guard Division proves the vision of the Ministry of Public Security towards a region with its important position in terms of national defense, security and foreign affairs.

President Phuc visited the Guard Division of the Guard Command in Da Nang on Friday, the 5th anniversary of the unit.

The Central and Central Highlands region, especially Da Nang city and Quang Nam province hosted many domestic and foreign events and welcomed many high-level delegations.

The region’s Guard Command has accomplished tasks assigned by the Party, State, and the Ministry of Public Security.  It has coordinated with the local public security forces to ensure security and safety for high-ranking delegations of the Party and State and international guests.

President Phuc praised the force for being united, determined, and order-abiding, training and maintaining discipline.
