(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang on Tuesday visited a number of former Dien Bien Phu soldiers on the occasion of the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory on May 7^th.

He said that the party and state acknowledge the great contributions of the war veterans and the forces which created the resounding Dien Bien Phu victory. He also said he hoped the veterans would help to educate the younger generations on the country’s revolutionary traditions to contribute more to national development.
