(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang visited Quang Nam province on Sunday as part of his tour of central provinces. He inspected progress of the construction of the monument dedicated to heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Thu, which will be inaugurated on Vietnam’s War Martyrs and Invalids Day July 27th.
President Sang said that this project is of great humanitarian value and it will help to educate the younger generations on the country’s traditions. He also planted a tree to show the respect of today’s generation to the thousands of heroic Vietnamese mothers.
