(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang received on Thursday Han Myong Sup, General Director of Samsung Vietnam. He urged Samsung Electronics to assist Vietnamese companies in the support industry to join Samsung’s value chains.

He said he hopes that Samsung will be the leading investor in Vietnam’s electronic sector to reach an export revenue of 50 billion USD in the next 5 years. He said the Vietnamese government will implement measures to improve the support industry so that more VNese businesses will get involved in foreign invested value chains in Vietnam.

General Director Han Myong Sup said Samsung Vietnam will strive to earn 40 billion USD from electronics in 2016 and expand the production of household electrical appliances. He pledged to support Vietnam’s support industry and offer Vietnamese businesses with opportunities to join Samsung’s production chain.
