(VOVworld)- On Wednesday, President Truong Tan Sang met with former prisoners of war who are in Hanoi for the Conference of the Vietnam Liaison Committee for Former Prisoners of War.

President Sang praised the revolutionary soldiers for their contributions to national construction and defense. He said: “I hope that you will continue contributing to protecting and building of the Party. It’s necessary to ensure principles of the Party and at the same time reform its performance”.
The President asked the Liaison Committee for Former Prisoners of War to work with relevant ministries and agencies to enforce policies on paying debts of gratitude.
