(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang has proposed that the Government, unions, families, and society as a whole should offer the best condition for the education sector to develop.

Mr. Sang made the statement in a letter to the education sector prior to the coming new school year. He also congratulated the sector for achieving good results and sent his best wishes to all teachers, educational staff, and students across the country.

He wrote in his letter that, in the last academic year, with the support of all agencies and the whole society, the sector had implemented new teaching methods to improve the quality of education.

In the new academic year, Mr. Sang asked the sector to continue promoting the movement “Good teaching and good learning” among teachers and students. Sector leaders should listen to ideas of teachers, parents, and public opinions to have proper methods and reach consent.

President Sang expressed his hope that teachers, especially those in distant and disadvantaged areas, will make more contributions to educating and training students who are tomorrow’s leaders of Vietnam.

He also affirmed his hope that students uphold Vietnam’s fond-of-learning tradition and work well to make the country more prosperous.
