At a meeting in Hanoi on Thursday with representatives of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the 2017-2022 term, President Quang said its success reflected the Party, State, and relevant agencies’ attention to Vietnam Buddhism.
“I hope that the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, with its 2,000 years tradition of accompanying the nation, will develop further and will continue to mobilize Buddhist dignitaries and followers at home and overseas to unite with mass people and participate in social movements to boost national growth,” he noted.
