(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang has said Vietnam values the multifaceted cooperation with Armenia. Speaking at a reception for visiting Armenian Foreign Minister (FM) Edward Nalbandian in Hanoi on Friday, President Sang called for the review of problems that hinders the completion of  bilateral agreements  to boost both countries’ cooperation in economics, trade, education and training. Both sides agreed that Armenia expands its relationship with other ASEAN member countries once the regional economic community will be formed by 2015. President Sang suggested that both countries promote the exchanges of high level visits. He expressed his belief that the Armenian President’s upcoming visit to Vietnam will help lift bilateral ties to a new height.

FM Nalbandian said that the Vietnam-Armenia economic and trade cooperation does not match the two countries’ potential. He called for more efforts to boost cooperation in economics and in international forums.
