President Phuc said the traditional lunar New Year is a major festival of the Vietnamese and that the Vietnamese Party and State have asked sectors and localities to help people enjoy a happy and safe Tet.

The President signed a decision on presenting Tet gifts to revolution contributors. In addition to central resources, localities nationwide have mobilized local resources to bring a happy Tet to local people. The President asked Da Nang authorities to pay special attention to disadvantaged people and lonely elderly people and deliver prompt support while strengthening COVID-19 prevention measures.

The President expressed his hope that the Da Nang administration and people to make stronger efforts to gain greater achievements in order to make Da Nang a beautiful, rich, peaceful, civilized, and modern city.
