Opening the event on Thursday, the Prime Minister said that the building and perfection of institutions have been defined by the Party and State as one of the strategic tasks. He asked participants to review the work over the years, point out reasons behind problems and sketch out goals and tasks in the future. He said that the building of institution must be made in line with the Party's guidelines and the Constitution.
Prime Minister Chinh said, “We need to focus on building a law-governed socialist State, completing socialist-oriented market economy institutions, strengthening international integration, with Party building being the core and economic development being a central task and national protection being a major mission. We need to identify issues requiring the resolution from localities, ministries, the government, the National Assembly.”
