The Prime Minister said the government is paying special attention to technology transfer and domestic vaccine production. He urged for more effective coordination between scientists, managers, and researchers under the management of the Ministry of Health. He said it’s necessary to tackle obstacles concerning procedures while ensuring scientific protocols, safety and efficacy of the vaccines.

He asked the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health to igive incentives to encourage domestic vaccine production and access to COVID-19 vaccines as soon as possible. He said he hopes that Vietnam will have made-in-Vietnam COVID-19 vaccines in September.
