Speaking at a reception for CEO of the DFC Adam Boehler in Hanoi on Wednesday, Prime Minister Phuc said Vietnam’s economic growth is impressive but Vietnam’s economy can develop stronger and more sustainably if much is invested in energy, infrastructure, health care, and education. He added Vietnam plans to buy many equipment and products of the US and pursues trade balance policy with the US.

Mr. Boehler said his Corporation with a resource of 60 billion USD can invest in various forms for both US and Vietnamese businesses. He added  the DFC pledges investment in Vietnam and wants to allocate investment at regional level to connect infrastructures between Mekong countries, particularly when Vietnam assumes the Chair of ASEAN in 2020.
