(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung left Hanoi on Friday to attend a signing ceremony on a free trade agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the Eurasia Economic Community in Kazakhstan.

During his 10-day working trip, PM Dung is scheduled to pay official visits to Algeria, Portugal, and Bulgaria beginning Friday.

The signing is expected to create a legal framework for Vietnam and the community members to increase bilateral relations and exchange ideas for implementing the agreement in each country.

The visits illustrate Vietnam’s comprehensive cooperation policy with Europe and the European Union and its commitment to collaboration with Africa.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung will take this opportunity to discuss with foreign partners sustainable socio-economic development, international economic connection, and climate change.

The visits are also expected to promote new cooperation frameworks and attract foreign investment in Vietnam.
