PM Chinh shared the outcomes of his discussions with his Lao counterpart Sonexay Siphandone, and highlighted the progress made during the 47th Intergovernmental Committee meeting, including resolving outstanding issues and setting future directions for cooperation between the two countries.
The top Lao leader emphasized that the Party and people of Laos consistently place the highest priority on the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith welcomed the outcomes of the Intergovernmental Committee meeting and urged the relevant agencies and sectors of both countries to actively implement the agreements reached by the two leaders.
He also called for strengthened connectivity between the two economies, particularly in the areas of finance, infrastructure, transportation, energy, telecommunications, and tourism.
