PM chairs Government meeting on law-making

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Friday chaired the Government's special session on law-making in November to give opinions on the proposed Law on Cultural Heritages (amended) and Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations and a number of other bills.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Chinh said that in October the Government submitted 14 laws to the National Assembly. At its 4th session, the 15th National Assembly approved 6 laws, gave opinions on 7 laws and revised a law project. The Government session on law-making in November continued to closely follow the Politburo and the National Assembly Resolutions on law-making.

The Prime Minister urged the ministers and the heads of sectors to finalize the annual program and base on the actual situation to consider whether there are any problems, especially for issues that have not been prescribed by law but are required by practice, to supplement or remove them.
