| Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc pays a pre-Tet visit to workers in Hai Phong
Afterwards, participating in a Lunar New Year reunion program with workers in Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, the Prime Minister asked local authorities to review policies to ensure a happy Tet celebration for employees. He hailed the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour for organising activities to care for trade unionists and employees, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and social welfare families.

Also on Wednesday, the Prime Minister attended an inauguration ceremony of the Memorial House of revolutionist Nguyen Duc Canh, who was the first Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee. He praised the revolutionist’s bright example of patriotism and staunchness and said: “Hai Phong City should preserve and promote the Memorial House as a significant educational relic for workers and labor unions nationwide. More collection of objects and documents about Nguyen Duc Canh should be made available to illustrate his revolutionary life.”
Memorial House of revolutionist Nguyen Duc Canh was inaugurated two days before the 111th birthday of Mr. Canh on February 2, 2019.
