The plan aims to promote the relic site as a place for archaeological research on the Oc Eo civilization, which had a major influence on the development of the socio-economy, culture, and tourism of An Giang.

On this occasion, An Giang announced the Prime Minister’s recognition of the Phat Linh Son Bac embossment and the Nandin Giong Cat Ring 9, which are now preserved at the Oc Eo relic site as two national treasures.
