All Phu Quoc residents over 18 years old have been fully vaccinated, while all 12th-grade students have received at least one dose of vaccine. Children from 12 to 17 years old will soon be vaccinated.

Phu Quoc has prepared medical care at hotels, established and trained community healthcare units at the grassroots level, and arranged places for COVID-19 treatment. Businesses, which are allowed to receive tourists and supply services, have thoroughly prepared to welcome tourists and follow all guidelines of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the General Administration of Tourism, and the provincial authorities.
