(VOVworld) – The 100 best photos selected from contest entries for Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2013 are on display in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province. The photos capture beautiful images of local life:  an upland fair in the northern mountain province of Lao Cai; a firecracker festival in Dong Ky village, Bac Ninh province; an elephant race in the Central Highlands region; the Ramuwan festival of the Cham ethnic people in Ninh Thuan province; and the Peaceful Lake of Heaven festival in An Giang province.

The photos also feature traditional craft villages like Bau Truc pottery village, Hoi An pottery village, the Hon Khoi salt field in Khanh Hoa province, and Dinh Yen mat village in Dong Thap province.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association and Vietnam Heritage Magazine, is part of the celebration of the 9^th Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Day on November 11^th and calls attention to the cultural heritage of Vietnam.
