Party, State leaders pay tribute to President HCM, war heroes

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s top leaders on Saturday paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and laid flowers at the monument honoring heroes and war martyrs on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

The delegation included Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, and other former and incumbent leaders.

More than 1 million soldiers laid down their lives during Vietnam’s struggles for national independence and liberation.
