Party leader, President chairs Politburo meeting on Thua Thien Hue, Buon Ma Thuot development

(VOVWORLD) -Part General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong on Friday chaired a Politburo meeting to review 10 years of implementing the Politburo’s conclusion on Thue Thien Hue’s development until 2020 and another Politburo conclusion on building and developing Buon Ma Thuot city into a center of Vietnam’s Central  Highlands.

Mr. Trong spoke highly of the Party Central Committee’s Economics Commission for their thorough review reports, which were approved by the Politburo.

The Politburo said Thue Thien Hue has made great efforts in mindset change, making full use of advantages to grow rapidly. Hue city is recognized a festival city of Vietnam and an ASEAN city of culture and tourism. The Politburo agreed to issue a resolution on building and developing Thue Thien Hue until 2030 and vision to 2045.

The Politburo acknowledged Buon Ma Thuot’s  efforts to become a first-class city of Dak Lak province, a green, ecological, smart, and unique center of the Central Highlands by 2030, and a nuclear urban center of the region and the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Development Triangle.
