(VOVworld)- Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong had a working session with key leaders of Khanh Hoa province  on Wednesday. He praised the province's rapid growth and urged for continued development planning. He also asked Khanh Hoa to ensure political security, and social order and  protect national sea and island territories.

Earlier, at a meeting with local leaders of Dien Dien commune in the province, Mr. Trong stressed the need to build new rural areas and turn the heroic area of Dien Dien into a leading commune.

Located near Nha Trang city, Dien Khanh district has invested 600 billion VND in development projects and 7 out of its total 17 communes are classified as new rural areas.
