Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong told the visiting IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday that he was pleased to see practical cooperation between Vietnam and the IMF in policy consultation, human resources and international integration. The IMF Chief praised Vietnam’s achievements in social economic development, inclusive and sustainable growth. She voiced her strong support for Vietnam in its reform, especially in the banking sector, state owned enterprises, fiscal policy and women advancement.
