View of the meeting

General Secretary Lam works with the Document Subcommittee, the Standing Boards of the 14th National Party Congress Subcommittees and the Central Steering Committee for summarizing 40 years of Doi Moi (Renovation) in Hanoi on Wednesday. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the meeting.

The Party leader stressed the importance of the Subcommittees’ Draft Report which will be open for all levels and sectors to contribute inputs. He requested the swift completion of draft report for approval and the document will be sent to Party organizations by July 31.

“In parallel with sending documents to the Congresses at all levels for feedback, I suggest that the Standing Boards of the Sub-Committees and the Steering Committee continue to proactively research, review, update, supplement and complete the draft documents. In this process, the Party Committees and the people give their comments and we listen, absorb and must be very proactive. We do this process regularly and continuously until the Congress documents are approved,” said General Secretary To Lam. 

The General Secretary requested a review of the draft action program of the 14th National Party Congress’ Resolution, calculation of the ability to mobilize resources and to meet capital conditions for implementing key national projects, clear identification of the priorities that need to be done to bring about socio-economic efficiency and stable development of the country.
