Party Committee of Central Agencies marks its 15th anniversary

(VOVWORLD) -The cadres and party members of the Party Committee of Central Agencies have been striving to make a total transformation over the past 15 years of development, under the leadership of the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat. The Party building work has been carried out extensively.

Huynh Tan Viet, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies, told a ceremony in Hanoi on Monday, marking the bloc’s 15th anniversary, April 11.

“Under President Ho Chi Minh’s Directive, the Inter-agency Party Committee was founded and since then the Party Committee of Central Agencies has changed its name, functions and tasks many times. On April 11, 2007 according to practical requirements, the Politburo made a decision to establish a Party Committee of Central Agencies under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, the Government and the advice of relevant agencies."

Mr. Viet said the Party Committee of Central Agencies has undertaken many important tasks assigned by the Party and State, contributing to many great achievements of the country.
