They said they will help domestic businesses benefit from trade deals and attract investment. Le Minh Tuyen, an overseas Vietnamese who lives in France, said: "I’ve attended the annual exchange for the past 10 years. I’m very happy to meet my friends. The event connects Vietnamese people at home and abroad."

Several overseas Vietnamese were honored at the exchange for their outstanding achievements in 2019.
