The event on Saturday gathered representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy, the Republic of Korea’s legislative body, local government and Vietnamese people. Similar event took place in another pagoda in Vientiane, where participants lit candles to pay tribute to war martyrs and those who fought for national independence and freedom.
